On behalf of Luxembourg joint venture vehicles, Fairacre has acquired a portfolio totalling some €135 million of retail and industrial properties across Germany.
Some 40 individual properties have been purchased in lot sizes ranging from €2 - €10 million. The properties are predominantly in the retail sector and are let to strong covenants, including Aldi, Lidl, Praktiker, Edeka, Rewe and Netto.
Whilst the majority of assets comprise recently constructed supermarkets/DIY units on long leases, there are also a number of asset management opportunities throughout the portfolio.
Fairacre's role in Germany has been to acquire the properties, arrange the financing and asset manage the portfolio.
